Cadence Orchestrates a New Fall Menu New Wednesday Nights at the K. Lounge

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cadence at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts underwent a refreshing facelift and menu changes over the long, hot summer. On September 19, Cadence debuts its new look, new contemporary French brasserie cuisine, new hours, and a new happy hour!

Coinciding with the opening of the Orchestra, Cadence opens with a timpani drum bang. Executive Chef Brendan Smith joins forces with Restaurant Chef Ron True to design an inviting fall menu. The new menu is a combination of popular favorites and new delicacies. For appetizers, the Ahi Tuna Tartare with Chive Wasabi Creme Fraiche and Chips reappears along with the mountainous Iced Seafood Platter with Oysters, Shrimp, Clams, Mussels and Maine Lobster. These favorites are joined by a new dish, including Roasted Beets served with Goat Cheese and Micro Greens.

New entrees include Seafood Bouillabaisse with a Saffron Broth, Pastis and Red Pepper Rouille; Duck Cassoulette with Haricot Cocos, Duck Confit, and Saucisson. The new Tagine of Lamb with Apricots, Almonds and Artichokes joins the house favorite Coq Au Vin Rouge with Pinot Noir, Petit Onions, Lardons and Spaetzle. Follow these cool weather comfort foods with the new dessert options: Apple Tarte Tatin served with Carmel Sauce or Mocha Nut Torte.
