Women First HealthCare to Announce Second Quarter 2002 Results on July 30, 2002

SAN DIEGO, July 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Women First HealthCare, Inc. (Nasdaq:WFHC) today announced its 2002 second quarter earnings release date.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2002, before the market opens, Women First will issue a press release announcing its financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2002.

Beginning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. Pacific Time) the same day, Edward F. Calesa, chairman, president and CEO, and Charles M. Caporale, vice president and CFO, will host a conference call to discuss the results. Discussions may include forward-looking and other material information.
