AARO Initiates Broadband Wireless Service to First Customer


OKLAHOMA CITY, May 30, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- AARO Broadband Wireless Communications, Inc. (OTC:AARO), a subsidiary of AAROW Environmental Group, Inc. is proud to announce the commencement of broadband fixed-wireless service to its first business customer in Oklahoma City.

According to AARO Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Mike Erhart, wireless service was officially "lit" at Automated Energy, Inc. at 6 p.m. Monday, May 22.

"This is the first of many significant milestones AARO expects to reach in the coming months. We're pleased to be providing a viable alternative to slower wired service in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Now that we've connected our first customer, potential clients in Oklahoma and throughout the central and western U.S. can begin looking to AARO for reliable high-speed fixed wireless access and top-flight applications services," Erhart said.

Automated Energy, an Oklahoma City-based corporation, is the world leader in delivering customized energy management information services to users and producers of electricity. Automated Energy CEO and former Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Cody Graves expects to use the connection provisioned from AARO to provide faster, more reliable service to his company's customers.

AARO began offering wireless connectivity in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas in May 2000.
